Z Hotels, Zolo’s latest venture, has swiftly claimed its place in the premium business budget segment, with 350 SRNs across three cities and a strong pipeline that will expand by 800+ SRNs in the coming year. These qualities, coupled with a love for hospitality, are the foundation of a team that consistently delivers exceptional guest service.

How will travel trends change in the year 2025?

In 2025, travel trends will shift towards sustainability, local immersion, and technology integration. By leveraging smart technology for seamless services and expanding wellness offerings, we aim to create a rejuvenating environment. Was a career in hospitality something you always dreamt of?  What is your advice to aspiring hoteliers?

While a career in hospitality wasn’t my original dream, enrolling in a hotel management program and gaining industrial training opened my eyes to a newfound passion. I discovered the joy of connecting with guests daily and creating memorable experiences through ultra-luxury and personalized service. For aspiring hoteliers, I encourage you to approach your work with genuine passion and the goal of bringing smiles to others. Stay current with hospitality trends and continuously seek to enhance your skills, always keeping your sights set at least two levels ahead in your career. Take the initiative to understand your leader’s responsibilities and actively contribute as a team player for the vision of the company. Food- Delhi- When it comes to food, Delhi is an absolute gem! From the mouthwatering street food think spicy chaat and buttery parathas to exquisite fine dining that celebrates regional flavors.

  History: Jaipur- Now, if you’re a history buff, you can’t miss Jaipur! This Pink City is a treasure trove of royal heritage, boasting breathtaking palaces and majestic forts that transport you back in time. Every corner tells a story with a great hospitality.

 Fashion: Mumbai– I have explored recently Mumbai very closely as we have launched Z Bliss Suites- BKC and Mumbai is where it’s at As India’s fashion capital, it’s a vibrant hub of trends, where high-end boutiques meet eclectic street style. Whether you’re shopping in Colaba or Bandra, the city is a runway of creativity!

You have worked in several cities, which is your favourite city for work and play?

My favorite city for work and play is Bangalore! It strikes the perfect balance between a thriving professional environment and vibrant leisure activities. With its booming tech scene, numerous co-working spaces, and networking opportunities, it’s an ideal place to advance your career. On the flip side, the city offers a lively social scene, from trendy cafes and restaurants to beautiful parks and cultural events. Whether I’m attending meetings or unwinding with friends, Bangalore has something for everyone!

When are you happiest?

 I feel happiest when I see my team thriving and doing an exceptional job. There’s nothing quite like witnessing their growth and success! I also find joy in being lost in nature, where I can recharge and reflect. And, of course, my day wouldn’t be complete without spending quality time with my lovely wife and child at the end of it all. Their presence brings me immense happiness and fulfillment!

At work, which is your most challenging activity and why?

I find that the most challenging activity at work often presents the greatest opportunities for growth and learning. Tackling complex problems or navigating difficult situations can be demanding, but these challenges push me to think creatively and develop new strategies.
